America and East Asia
Last spring Mark Ericson gave his students an insight into the history and culture of East Asia (China, Japan, and Korea). He will follow up that course this fall with an intensive look at the United States’ relationships with East Asia, from moment of initial contact to the present day. In the light of current events in China and North Korea, this course promises to be very timely.
