Course Description: This is an 8-class beginner friendly iPhone photography course designed to teach adults how to capture professional-looking images using only their iPhone. The curriculum covers essential skills such as composition, lighting, focus, exposure, editing and creative techniques. There will be both classroom instruction and practical experience in order to capture high-quality photos in various environments. We will visit outdoor locations in several locations on the island and in close proximity (but not walking distance) to the classroom. Students will edit photos using tools built in to their iPhone. Students will be given home assignments to email or text to the instructor.
Instructor: Karen Bowden is a lifelong student of photography technique. She is a professional exhibitor and held the position of Gallery Director, Plantation Artists Guild and Gallery for four years. Karen travels the globe and uses photography and storytelling for her followers “to go along for the ride”.
