Conversational Spanish III
Course Description: This Spanish course is designed to continue developing conversational skills learned in Continuing Spanish II for Busy People. Conversation will build confidence in the language on topics such as family, shopping, travel, recreational activities, sports, hobbies and participants’ interests. Grammar will review the present and past tenses studied in Spanish II and will introduce the future and conditional tenses. This class is recommended to anyone who has taken Dr. Arias’ Continuing Spanish classes or who has conversational use of the present and past tenses in every day conversational situations in Spanish.
Instructor: Dr. Berta Isabel Arias is a Professor Emeritus in World Languages and International Education as well as a local author. Dr. Arias enjoys sharing her love of Spanish and the Hispanic/Latino culture.
Schedule: Ten sessions. Tuesday and Thursday, September 27 to October 27, 9:30-11:30.
Location: Baker Hall at the Amelia Island Museum of History, 233 S. 3rd Street, Fernandina Beach.
