Great Decisions 2020 –  Session I

Note that there are two sessions with identical content.  Register for either. 

Great Decisions offers guided discussion of specific foreign policy challenges facing the U.S. with the goal of a better understanding of the dynamics of international relations and U.S. goals.  2020 topics include:  Climate Change and the Global Order; India and Pakistan; Red Sea Security; Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking; U.S Relations with the Northern Triangle; China’s Road into Latin America; The Philippines and the U.S.; Artificial Intelligence and Data.

Instructor:  Stephen Kimmel has been a participating member of the Amelia Island Great Decisions program since 2012.  He holds a B.S. in Chemistry and an M.B. A. from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana.  Mr. Kimmel worked in sales and marketing for Shell Chemical Company, as a management consultant for Robert H. Hayes and Associates, and 27 years for the Dutch firm AkzoNobel NV from which he retired as Vice President and General Manager of its Polymer Chemicals business in the Americas.
