Description

In the summer of 1787, the Founding Fathers & Framers traveled to Philadelphia to save a weak and troubled nation.  Their monumental efforts became known as the Constitutional Convention and their new plan of government has served America for more than 230 years.  The class will examine the Articles of Confederation and the original Constitution that was largely the creation of James Madison, known as the “Father of the Constitution.”

Instructor:  Sal Campanaro is a retired New York state high school teacher.  He has a B.A. in History/ Political Science and an M.S. in education.
