Description

Two brave dogs, a cross-section of the men of an historic Mississippi town, and a heroic boy go on yearly hunts for a legendary bear.  Join our discussion of William Faulkner’s novella “The Bear,” a very intriguing story and an introduction to an important author.

Instructor:  Dr. Marilyn Wesley, Professor Emerita of Hartwick College, is the author of three books of critical analysis and specializes in American Literature.  A poet, she is also the editor of a poetry publication.
